Dr. Annice E. Fisher is a nationally recognized expert in leadership development, innovation, change management and equity. She has over 20 years of experience working across diverse sectors. From working with mayors to boards to superintendents to deans to state agencies to leaders in the criminal legal system, Dr. Fisher understands what it takes to build coalitions for change in complex systems. As founder of Developing Capacity Coaching, she pioneered the Conscious Leadership for Equity™ framework, now implemented in the criminal legal system, education, government, philanthropy, for profit and non-profit spaces.

Her work has earned numerous accolades, including:

She recently published an op-ed on How Black Women Can Navigate Leading Social Change in Inside Higher Ed. Dr. Fisher co-authored Beyond Statements Toward Action with American University’s former Dean of the School of Education, Dr. Cheryl Holcomb-McCoy in Diverse Issues in Higher Education.
